  • Ducklings.

    Ducklings begin hatching approximately mid-March until July. The available species include wood ducks, blue-winged teal, pintail, gadwall, mandarins, green-winged teal and black-bellied whistlers.

  • Mature Ducks.

    After a month or so, ducklings are considered to have matured. This can result in more resilience during shipment.

  • Consulting.

    One of the benefits of purchasing waterfowl from Palmetto Hammock is the access to well-rounded knowledge regarding everything from incubation to maturity. Whether you have questions about pen building, feed, illnesses, or injuries, I have been there. After you purchase with me, I will do everything I can to ensure you waterfowl flourish.

Logistics.

There are lots of factors that influence hatchlings. Therefore, the number and species of ducks available varies from year to year. Orders can be placed throughout the year and will be fulfilled in a first come, first serve basis.

The ducks can be picked up in Altoona, Florida. If this is not feasible, the ducks may be shipped through the USPS’s overnight services. You are responsible for the cost to ship and any insurance you choose for your delivery. The ducks will be dropped off healthy and in a species specific shipping box. I cannot be responsible for any shortcomings of the postal service.
